The lights had gone out, the race was off..... Hulkenburg had a good start but Vettel's was even better the Red Bull driver was leading into the first corner with Hulkenburg and Webber closely behind, then Webber got past Hulkenburg at turn four, It couldn't of gotten any better for them. A great battle between Hamilton and Alonso was happening, Fernando did Hamilton down the main straight but then the Mclaren man cut back inside to take the place back at turn one. But what happened at turn four? Hamilton goes wide and Alonso is up to P4.

A great start to the Brazilian Grand Prix, the old master was back with his old tricks overtaking Jenson Button, his title ambitions were turning into thin air. Alonso had trouble getting past Hulkenburg with the young German defending very well, the Red Bull drivers pulling away quickly from Alonso and the rest of the field.

Lap 11 came with Jenson pitting for the prime tyres, which triggered Massa, Barrichello, Hulkenburg and others to pit, with Button pitting a lap less then the others he jumped alot of drivers. Massa's day got even worse when he pitted and one of his wheel's was loose and then had to pit again! Towards the front of the field Webber and Vettel were way clear of Hamilton and Alonso. The front runners pit but no change in the order; Vettel, Webber, Alonso and Hamilton the top four.

Alot later in the race, under-pressure Force India driver Tonio Luizzi crashed his car at turn two which brings out the safety car, Button, Hamilton and Massa pit under the saftey car, Felipe and Jenson pit for the option tyre and Hamilton another set of primes. Alot of drivers were out of position so it was hard for the drivers to now who to let through and who to fight with. Alonso starts to catch Webber but it was too late, Vettel crossed the line P1 and Webber P2 which gave Vettel his fourth win of the season!
